Skittles: Taste the Ridiculousness

So I just finished my 5 years of undergrad at UF, and as an Advertising major I spent a ridiculous amount of time studying spots and saving my favorite clips. If I had to put together a Top 20, I'd say about 8-10 of those slots belong to Skittles.

I just saw this one tonight for the very first time and melted.
If you like that one, check out a few of my other favorites:
Here, hereherehere, aaaaand here

If anybody can find me some ads that come from further out in left field than Skittles', I'll give you everything in my back left pocket :)

The Best One-Linerer Alive?

Comedy Central - Tonight (Thurs) - 10pm ET
(..and then Wednesdays @ 10:30pm ET for the rest of the season)

Demetri Martin, one of my favorite comedians, will be debuting his brand new show, Important Things with Demetri Martin, tonight!

In my opinion, Demetri is the closest thing we'll get to a reincarnation of Mitch Hedberg. He's got flawless delivery and makes you think while you laugh. Can't get better than that, right?

Check out the clip for a little taste of his standup.

Check out the teeth on Letterman!

Here's a clip from last night's interview with recently impeached governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich
We understand you want to clear your name, but do that in the courtroom, not on TV shows. Let us know when mission's accomplished. Until then, go away!

Why You Trashin My Scene?!

Back in July, TMZ reported that Christian Bale had an unbelievable tantrum on the set of Terminator 4: Salvation. He was set off by the film's director of photography, who didn't realize there was action on the set, and walked into one of Bale's scenes. Listen below to what happened next.

Yet another famous asshole that we'll continue to watch because he's just that talented.

When the rain started, I put on my spaghetti helmet

You MUST favorite spot this short film and save it for when you have 25 minutes of free time. KEEP READING! I know that's a big investment of time, but PLEASE trust me when I say that it is not a waste. Close out all the other programs on your computer and full screen this baby.

It is absolutely gorgeous to look at, features a great soundtrack and tells a completely orginal story about a bunch of fictional characters' experience with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

I could write forever about how this made me feel, the ending especially, but any type of attempt would certainly be a disservice. Please watch this the whole way through.

The Watchmen (Trailer)

From the guy who brought you Sin City and 300...

"Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?"

I'll be honest, I know next to nothing about comics, or graphic novels, or whatever they prefer to be called.. but after seeing this trailer and a few others, I'll definitely be scooping up the written version before the movie comes out.

Look for The Watchmen to hit theaters everywhere (IMAX included) on March 6.
